Join the Leeds Craftivists!

We are a collective of creatives and activists who use gentle crafting to create the kind and loving world we want to see. We meet once a month to learn about local campaigns and use our community voice to call for action from people in power. By crafting small, beautiful objects and big, bold community art pieces, we educate ourselves and invite our whole Leeds community into the movement for change. Our gentle activism approach also helps us to nourish ourselves with creativity, and take action in a way that is sustainable for our own wellbeing.

Whether you’re a skilled artist or you can’t even thread a needle, you are so welcome to join us for an evening of crafting a better world together.

As a charity, we are committed to keeping our events and communities as affordable as possible, and so we have introduced a pricing structure for Leeds Craftivists which allows you to choose the price which is best suited to you. Here’s a quick guide to help you decide which ticket to select on the next page:

Recommended price ticket - £3. If you have some flexibility in your monthly outgoings, choosing this ticket covers your place in full.

Lower cost ticket - £1. Our most affordable ticket price.

Pay-it-forward ticket - £5. Selecting this option will support the work of Leeds Sanctuary and enable us keep offering events and activities that are affordable to everyone.

If you would like to come but cannot afford to buy your ticket, please contact hello@leedssanctuary.org.uk for a code which will allow you to book your ticket at no cost to you.

We are delighted to be able to offer our events, communities and resources for free, but we would be grateful if you would consider making a donation or becoming a regular giver so that we can continue to run our activities and create new resources for anyone who would like to access them. There will be opportunities at this event to make a donation, but should you wish to do this now, please click the link below.
