How does Public Transport affect people and communities living in Leeds?
Join Leeds Sanctuary and a network of local change-makers to share your views and learn about the wide-reaching affects of Public Transport in Leeds on our communities, public resources and environment.
With input from Jason Lowe and Clifford Stead, this Lunch is for everyone who dreams of a better world – whether you’re a seasoned campaigner or a budding activist, you’re very welcome. We will provide a light lunch, and you’ll have the chance to hear from the panel and join conversations in small groups.
Jason Lowe is a UCL Bartlett School graduate and transport enthusiast from Leeds. Bringing together best practice from a broad knowledge of urban, national and international transport systems across the world, he has campaigned for a number of transport reformations including Better Buses for West Yorkshire and for an EU-wide high speed rail network. With a long engagement in the third sector, Jason approaches transport through a single lens that unites economic, environmental and social justice.
Clifford Stead is a local artist and historian who holds a wealth of knowledge about Leeds’ public transport systems, both now and in the past.
